Heritage Christian School Core Values
Spiritual Training and Growth: Heritage Christian School places of primary importance the spiritual life and growth of our students. We desire that every student have a personal relationship with Christ and grow in both biblical wisdom and Christian character, knowing his or her identity in Christ as a child of God. Heritage Christian School will instruct in all subject areas from a biblical worldview to equip students for a life of dedication and service to Christ.
(Hebrews 6:1, Colossians 1:9-10, Psalm 139:14, Proverbs 1:7, Proverbs 22:6)
Academic and Scholastic Excellence: Heritage Christian School believes that in all things, the believer should pursue excellence for the glory of God. We strive to teach skillfully in all subject areas, equipping students to be successful both in their academic pursuits and beyond the classroom. Students are challenged to work diligently, think critically, and set high goals in the classroom and in their daily lives.
(1 Corinthians 10:31, 1 Corinthians 15:58, Philippians 4:8, Colossians 3:23)
Biblical Relationships: Heritage Christian School desires that all students, faculty, and staff develop meaningful, Christ-centered relationships that reflect biblical principles of encouragement, forgiveness, accountability, and brotherly love. We endeavor to equip students with the life skills they need to be discerning in their relationships and bless others.
(Proverbs 13:20, Matthew 18, Ephesians 4:2-3, 2 Corinthians 6:14)
Growth in Leadership and Service: Heritage Christian School aims to train up strong leaders for the kingdom of God in our community and throughout the world. At all grade levels, our faculty and staff work to provide opportunities for students to practice their leadership skills within the structures of teacher support and encouragement. Students are encouraged to give of themselves within their communities, modeling the example of Christ as a humble servant. (Matthew 20:26, John 13:13-17, Ephesians 4:11-16, 1 Timothy 4:12)
Partnering with Families: Heritage Christian School is committed to a teacher, student, and family partnership that acknowledges the parents and guardians in the primary role as educator and mentor. Teachers partner alongside families to establish spiritual, academic, and character foundations to equip students for a life dedicated to Christ in all areas.
(Luke 2:52, Deuteronomy 6:6-7, Psalm 127:3)

It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of it's educational policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
